Q: I've programmed my Wireless Photoelectric Sensors. The Trolley travels a short distance from the Open position and reverses. A: You must attach your garage door in order for the Wireless Sensors to function properly. These sensors are activated by door vibration. This helps conserve battery life because the sensors only turn on when the door is activated and moving. |
Q: My garage door opener will work using the button on the wall in the garage, but the remote for the car will not work. A: First try resetting your opener by unplugging the opener power head from the wall outlet. Wait 2 minutes and plug back in. Try your remote controls. If that doesn't work try to reprogram your remote control to the power head using the steps below: Programming Transmitter to Power Head Unit Press the PROGRAM button located on the garage door motor head unit once. The PROGRAM STATUS light on the motor head unit will turn on and remain lit for one minute, indicating that it is ready to learn the Transmitter code. Press the button on transmitter. The PROGRAM STATUS light will turn off indicating a successful learn. Press the same button on the Transmitter once more to operate the door. If you are unsuccessful in programing the transmitter to the motor head unit or if the button does not operate the door you probably have a faulty motor control board. A replacement board is found on this webpage: Wayne Dalton Quantum Control Board |
